Through the wind, rain, the intense sun and some vicious crocs we had a brilliant week at IRONMAN Cairns treating all kinds of broken competitors. With the fantastic work and endurance of Peter Valabek and Michal Hrcka we managed to treat over 120 athletes!

ART Australia had a great day treating athletes at IRONMAN Asia-Pacific Championships in Melbourne yesterday! We hope you all enjoyed the complimentary service we provided in partnership with IRONMAN! Good luck today athletes and we’ll see you all soon!

It is going to be wonderful to be a part of the 30th anniversary of the New Zealand Ironman!
1990 was my first one there, in Auckland.
The race and event has seen many changes in those 30 years but it remains one of the best in terms of venue, community support, organization and true week long family festival atmosphere culminating in the ironman.
My goal is always to do the best that i can on race day and enjoy the privilege of still being able to be take part in this event. Seemed so much easier back in the 90s!  Many years have passed since then as  have many injuries and life offers up many other challenges and hurdles with age. Now the words of my daughter ring loud and clear…”Never Give Up Mum”
I am looking forward to the event and catching up with many of the other oldies.
Good luck to all the athletes.
Enjoy the race and you can catch it live on
